We’ve introduced you to our Practice Manager Lynda, and now we’d like to introduce you to another member of the SHDC team. Introducing one of our dentists and co-founders…Dr Joshua Ehrlich!

Josh – Dentist

How long have you been at SHDC?

Since the very beginning, since the conception.

What are your favourite hobbies?

My favourite hobbies include reading, particularly historical books and novels. I also love playing golf, tennis and skiing.

Favourite meal?

Vienna Schnitzel, like my mum used to make or like my partner, Bev makes.

Last book you read?

Last book I read just won the Man Booker Prize, The Narrow Road to the Deep North – I’m half way through. It’s the story of a Tasmanian boy from a very poor background who became a surgeon and was instrumental in keeping as many prisoners alive when they were building railways in WWII in a Japanese POW camp. It’s a beautiful story and really beautifully written.

Favourite movie/actor?

Probably The Shawshank Redemption and in terms of actors I really like Morgan Freeman.

Dream holiday destination?

In the winter a dream holiday is a place like Aspen or Vale in Colorado. In the summer a dream holiday destination is somewhere like Taormina in Sicily or Bondi Beach in Sydney.

What makes you happy?

The thing that makes me happy is being healthy and fit and enjoying the company of my family and friends.

Favourite health tip?

To make sure that you get a really good nights sleep and exercise at least 3 times a week.
