Some cosmetic dentistry techniques, which can be used, are
- Home Teeth Whitening - which involve a custom, made mouthguard, which will hold the bleaching gel used in conjunction with toothpaste. Excellent results in 10-14 days
- ZOOM in-surgery Teeth Whitening - a more concentrated and controlled technique which can lighten the shade of the teeth within one hour
- Tooth - colored filling materials - whether used on front teeth to replace old and discoloured fillings or instead of the mercury amalgam fillings on back teeth
- Composite veneers - using a material that can be shaped in the mouth and then cured with a light.
- Porcelain or polyceramic veneers - thin wafers that are placed over the front of the teeth to cover discolouration and improve alignment and shape
- Crown and bridge - used to cap heavily filled teeth and replace missing teeth.

Amalgam Restorations
